![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: General Photo Comp #86 Some real interesting and message-influences images this week. ![]() Bruce... very interesting how you transformed a daily occurence into a genuine photographic. Excellent 'vision' that! ADGvast... great work with the macro. Very fascinate studying the details of a fly. Again, an everday thing which has been photographed and turned into something real intrigue. ree...firstly, the teddy bear looks real cute and cuddly!! Secondly, you, like Bruce have a very good message in your photo about the change in generations. Nice 'vision' also. Car Diva ...another use of macro. Looks real nice, especially the colors. By the way, congrats on your orchid bloom. ![]() Here's mine for the week... ![]() .....W a v e ... R i d i n'..! Coalcliff Beach, Sydney Easter Weekend 08 Sony DSC-H2 |

(just joking) how I miss old school manual film cameras... The colors of the orchid bloom are the true ones, no adjustments, no tricks, A second one opened today Just curious...are you riding the waves while taking pictures? It looks like fun the guy in the picture looks like a crash test dummy , especially the head ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: General Photo Comp #86 Haha, you're right Diva, he does look like a crash-test dummy. He's got that perfect side profile of a crash-test dummy. Now I'll remember to think 'crash-test dummy position' if I ever take surfing lessons! ![]() As for if that's me surfing... unfortunately it's not, just some random guy at the beach who I was fortunate enough to capture in full motion as he weaved through the waves. ![]() And in regards to 'macro'.. yep, the macro buttom or function is represented on all cameras with a flower-symbol. Some real amazing photos can be taken with this setting - case in point: ADGvast's fly photo - some incredible details the human eye tends to miss. |
