Hi Paldi, I'm surprised you didn't get the wood steering wheel together with the extended wood package, because that's what we got. After some thought, you probably got the standard leather wrapped steering wheel because it has a warming function - absolutely love for winter drives. The steering wheel gets too hot in where I live, and my dad has to 'burn' his hands to hold it, but it's okay after cooling it for a while. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Steering wheels. Got me a woody! After a day of driving with it I find its not slippery. Phaeton steering is light and also, my hands seem to "glue" themselves to the rim - just enough natural moisture on them to get a firm grip but not so much as to slide. It has a lux feel to it. Happy so far. I expect it will be easier to keep clean than leather. It tends to get hot in the sun. |
