![]() | Getting a boot! So I just bought this new boot/trunk lid off some guy in Germany. What would you do to it to improve the look and functionality of a Phaeton. I'll keep the original one stock and store it in my garage. ![]() How it looks now. The new lid... ![]() ![]() Give me some ideas! ![]() |

It's difficult to recreate the emblem (it's so solidly built, plus the push-button for opening the boot is way too cool) and with your new boot I don't see a congruency with the tailights IMO. However if you're looking for suggestions, I'd say extend the tailights into the boot, but in a different fashion. Or, you could always keep the stock boot the way it is, where it looks best. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Getting a boot! I agree completely, just a bare smooth boot (butt?) is out. That photoshop is just a starting point to hang things on. But I don't know what. A lip spoiler maybe. I like round tail lights but don't want to mod the fenders. These are just photos found on the internet. ![]() ![]() |
