Re: Still a handsome looking car...

Agreed. I loved it when it came out and honestly I like it for than the current one. The same goes for the current Jetta which in my opinion isn't as attractive and clean as the previous one.

Re: Still a handsome looking car...

i agree these new VW's aren't as attractive as the previous models. We have an previous model jetta wagon and it looks very upscale for the price you pay for it, compared to the new one which imo looks cheaper. I find the interior the same way the old one appealed to me more than the current one.

Re: Still a handsome looking car...

^^
That was a stylish and clean one, very audi-ish. The current one ain't that bad, my problem with it is the rear. I find it wierd looking especially when the car is in light colour.

Re: Still a handsome looking car...

I'd love to put my money down for a B5 Passat, but they're just too pricey compared to the tempting W124s going for half the price. If I had spare cash the B5 would be my first choice no doubt.

Re: Still a handsome looking car...

As Luwalira said they're very Audish due to being based on A4 platform.

Whereas the new B6 is based on extended Golf platform hence design flaws.
I remember reading the Murat Gunak said he did not have enough room to play with on the B6 sedan, the B6 wagon was a different story.

So perhaps B7 will go to MLP and be as nice as the Audi A5

ps I like all Dubs
