Blog Entries: 1 | Re: 190e This is the predecesor of the C-Class, not the E-Class. Its code I believe was W201, built from 1982-1993. The second generation, W202 became the C-Class (1994-2000) and followed by the W203 (2001-2007/8?). Great pics btw. A beautiful 'Baby Benz' like it was called back in those days. Moving thread from E-Class to Older MBs/Classics section. |

| Re: 190e I think that this is a very special car! Can someone explain why MB stopped making 4-vlave per cylinder engines back then and they started their 3-valve per cylinder campaign. It seems that they were on the right track and all of a sudden they decided to go in a totally different direction with their engines. It took more than a decade for them to realize that DOCH is actually better. It is just something that has been in my head for a long time I don’t have logical explanation. Maybe it was…marketing? - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER |

| Re: 190e they are actually very rear and when I see one I usually try to take a picture. I took those pictures couple of days ago at my school parking lot. According to the parking decal it belongs to a professor…he obviously knows his stuff - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER |

| Re: 190e Ok. To judge from the dyno sheet it puts out 353.6 bhp. Seems a bit low for a car with that amount of mods done to it. It might put out more depending on the turbo set up, I think. |
