1961 190d

Hi i am trying to find more information on a Mercedes 190D. It says on it that it is body number 65. I will go back and get the vin number off it, but at the moment all i know is that it is a manual and a diesel.

Thats all that i know except it has a Daimler diesel in it

Forgot to mention it was manufactured in 1961...

i took some photos today, it is not my car yet but we are looking at it, its a repo because the guy that owns it didnt pay his rent on his storage unit. It only has 5355 miles on the clock, not sure if that is genuine miles though. I will post photos later, thanks for the help!

Christian, is there any site that you upload the VIN of a car and it shows you some info about it?

the vin thing didn't work for me. Perhaps the car is too old? Anyone know any more information about this vehicle? like what series it is or anything? My only experience with mercedes is my grandparents owning a 1980 something 280D...

Sorry for the late reply, I should have checked this thread.

Jim (Habitual Speeder) posted an interesting link. I myself have not the slightest clue where one could find this other than contacting the manufacturers of the car.
