So, did the beer taste any different or funny?

Did it use a pop-cap or a screw-top?

Re: Share your latest achievement!

Great thread. I have a couple too!

1)
So basically I was always a playful student and completed high school 5 years ago (somehow scraped through) and decided to go and find myself a job. I worked for 3 years and reality hit me, the fact that I couldnt really go anywhere or achieve any goals without a decent education. So then I decided to head back to school after a 3 year gap and redo my last year to sort of revive my brain cells. I struggled big time when I went back and the thought of giving up crossed my mind several times. I failed a few subjects here and there but I carried on pushing and ofcourse my parents always managed to get me back on my feet when I had given up hope. Last year I finally managed to make it to University and enrolled for my Bachelors degree in Business Admin. I basically work everyday from 8-5 and attend lectures at night. Today I recieved my results and im totally blown away to see that I have completed the first year with good grades (IMO). I know its still early but dayum its the greatest feeling of accomplishment I have EVER felt! Now atleast when I wake up in the morning and see the E46 M3 poster on my wall (btw which is one of my BIGGEST inspirations!), I feel like it may well be a reality some day. To anyone who may be going through a similair situation, all im saying is, dont give up. Try your BEST, and the almighty will do the REST! Thanks for reading

2)
On another note one of my favourite hangouts on the web (E46fanatics.com) have an annual calendar published and ofcourse they get hundreds of submissions for the calendar of which only 12 pics are selected. I took a pic a loong time ago and just tried my luck by submitting it and I was over whelmed to hear that they accepted one of my pics for the calendar! Cant wait to get my hands on one!

btw, this is the image for those of you who are wondering:

It felt weird because when you start to drink from a plastic bottle you're not expecting to taste beer. I also got a feeling that it would lose the carbon dioxide faster than a glass bottle but I don't think that's true. At first the beer did taste somewhat different but soon it was closer to normal so I think it was just a psychological thing.

It had a screw-top.

Yeah I'm still student too, and fed up with that situation...but no real choice!

One has to do what must be done.
Your good results show you that you are on the right way, so it's a great motive to go on!

Honey, just keep going! Your other choice is to QUIT, not a good choice, but a choice.

Bite the bullet and do whatever you have to do to graduate.
College is NOT easy, but in the end you will reap the rewards.

Courage, determination and perseverance my dear.
When you are down, think of this: millions of students went through it, so why can't you?

Ohhh my achievement today: I got a fat bonus and a raise.

I also got all green lights coming home

Re: Share your latest achievement!

Today's achievement was in regards to feeling great. Not only did it consist of a ton of sight seeing, but I feel as if I took some of the best photography I've ever taken.

Additionally - and this has been over the last week - I've been having a fantastic time with a new (girl) friend. Could certaintly develop into something... Me happy.

And yes, I realize my idea of an achievement isn't exactly what it is for others.
