Hair Cut?

In talking with Julius (DaSilva) earlier today, I thought this would make a great thread. So, thanks for the inspiration Julius.

What does your hair cut routine consist of?

How often do you get one? Do you go to a stylist studio (with your own stylist), or do you go to any old barber shop? How much do you pay for your cut?

Re: Hair Cut?

Hm, ever 2 months, I think. It's hard to keep track. I have an appointment next wednesday though

Current routine: Straighten hair in the evening, sleep, and then just a bit more before I go out. My hair is too long for wax right now. Otherwise I'd get some wax before going out as well. With hair looking naturally frizzy, but stylish at the same time, sort of.

As I've been growing my hair longer, it's been once a month in recent times. Normally though, it's every three weeks.

After getting a series (like, 7 years worth) of inconsistent haircuts - even despite the fact that they were instructed as to how, and what to cut - I decided to switch to a professional stylist. She's excellent too.... Always listens, and always does her job correctly.

>>How much do you pay for your cut?
$32 CAD. No one said it was going to be cheap... but hey, as long as I get the hair cut I want, I'm happy.

P.S. - Sorry for being a metrosexual.

Re: Hair Cut?

Lol, don't be sorry for that

I too have a professional and pay US $40. Love the result too much to risk going to someone cheaper.

Re: Hair Cut?

Me too, Gullwing.

Going to studio, same guy for almost 10 years. Never had any single remark. 8 € is what i pay for it. But i'm paying on every 4th or 5th visit, we're good ol' friends.

$32 CAD = €21. That's just a bit more than what 'any old barber shop' would charge here...

As for my own hair, I've never really had a hair 'style' to speak of - I don't want to spend a lot of time doing my hair every morning. I'm just happy as long as I still have some hair left.

Come to think of it, I haven't had a haircut for ... 3 months now?

Re: Hair Cut?

Can vary between 2 months to 7 months, really depends. Sometimes I prefer short hair so I can sleep at night and won't get in my way when I exercise, but the downside is everyone think I look like a soldier. Sometimes I go for the long hair look so I look like a sleeze bag or a dirty pervert (according to the girls). Any old brabar shop will do for me, I pay $13 AUD, don't know how much that is in other currency.
