I'm sure you know this but the Cross Coupe Quattro Concept was a design study for a smaller SUV/crossover ("Q3") not for Q5.

The overall shape of the car is very interesting. It looks as if it will kick ass in the design department. To me it appears as if it is a mix between a SAC and an Urban SUV like the Infinity FX. The R8 tails lights seem to be a very nice touch too. I have a feeling this will be a very attractive SUV. Atleast I hope so

I still don't understand howcome that Audi will launch another small concept - Q3. Then it'll have 3 SUVs (Q7, Q5 and Q3). I can't see the point of Q3 and its competitor.

Q7= X5 , ML , Range Rover ect.
Q5= X3 , MLK , Freelander ect.
Q3= X1 , RAV4 , Tiguan ect.

I didn't know that BMW is preparing new SUV - X1.

That's a bit more logical, probably Mercedes will also make a new small SUV if they will notice that selling is good.

Yes, MB are also considering a small SUV on A-class basis.

Both the Q5 and Q3 will be AWD. The first will be Torsen based the second Hadlex based.

My Latin are not very good although i know a few phrases like "Alea jacta est" , "Dum spiro spero" etc.
