The CS would be more the speed of the Panamera and Rapide. The A7 and CLS, while very much in the same mold as the two more upmarket aforementioned, it's just the same, not the same.

If cost determines which segment a vehicle is in then the Aston & Porsche shouldn't compete. I read some time ago the Porsche would be priced around $100,000 to $120,000 where the Aston Martin around $225,000 to $250,000. I don't know that was sometime ago.
