Holloman 2?! Dear God, I can't believe they bothered to make a sequel to that turkey. Paul Verhoven's darkest hour.

I saw Doom at a Motel 6 a few months ago. I could only tolerate it for about 20 minutes. Just horrible.

Re: Movie/Netflix reviews

Here is a couple more i saw lately:

Nacho Libre
7/10 Jack Black is hilarious as a monk-wrestler but it's more a family film than a comedy.

OSS 117: Nest of Spies
7/10 Very funny Bond parody from France.

Re: Movie/Netflix reviews

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - 4/10

Wow. Just finished watching it.. err..ok..45 mintues because I had to turn it off because it's rubbish)

What a peice of garbage, purely made for a second go around at the cash pot. The God's Must Be Crazy meets Sinbad..

I swear I saw some of those idiotic scenes in those movies and even then those movies were good (at the time). The Dead's Man Chest has ZERO appeal: Terribly disjointed and rushed scenes, bad acting, shitty script and lastly, absurdly fake backdrops.

If I want to watch terrible pirate movies I'll go rent Muntany on the Bounty

Holy..

Re: Movie/Netflix reviews

Just finished watching, Click

My rating - 6/10

I've seen many of Adam Sandler's movies and IMO, his previous efforts were better. Although that's not to say I hated this movie, I thought it was alright.

P.S - Kate looked good in this movie ...

Re: Movie/Netflix reviews

Number 23
8/10 - Always have bee a Jim Carrey fan, so I wanted to see if he could recreate his serious acting he played out in Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (I think that's the name..) His acting in Number 23 was great, although I'd still place it behind his performance in Eternal Sunshine

Overall, I enjoyed the movie.
