Blog Entries: 2   | Re: ~Blood Diamond~ I just saw the movie  I really felt it was quite an emotional movie, quite beautifully made with amazing acting, superb character choices and a pretty good story line. The overall movie reminded me of "The Constant Gardner" although in my opinion it wasn't as good, but still really good: 8.5/10. Before I went to this movie I had already had good feelings about Leonardo Dicaprio, but wow, this IMO is his best acting job yet. He wasn't the only one doing superb acting, Jennifer Connelly puts on an amazing job and reminds us how beauitiful she is  , while the African fellow Hounsou did a superb job.This movie did a good job of showing corruption and how young childern are captured and brainwashed Really enjoyed the movie, thanks once again for the great review Alex and like you, I recommend this movie. Slight Spoiler You said the movie might have been too long, I can understand that, maybe they could have cut some of the time near the end when they were going up the hill. | Re: ~Blood Diamond~ Watched it last night, Definitely one of the greats of 2006. Except for a few details concerning the very end, this was very well made, great acting, thought provoking and yet very entertaining. |

| Re: ~Blood Diamond~ watched it a while ago.. movie is off the richter.. loved it man dicaprio is an awesomme actor Aviator, Departed and now this.. I belive scorcese loves his acting..as he has planned to put him in his future productions.. he might be a modern Pacino or DeNiro.. if he keeps on at this pace |
