![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ghost Rider Review humm........Ghost Rider.......i didn't actually plan to watch this movie, but my friends accidentally bought the ticket for this movie so i ended up watching it, my friend paid for my ticket ofcourse. All i can remember from the movie was Eva Mendes, and Eva Mendes. She is very very sexy well.....pants wettingly sexy. You guys probably know by now that the plot is forgettable, basically teenage Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) was tricked into making a deal with the Devil by giving the Devil his sole to save his dad's life. However as usual things didn't turn out as the way it should be, so Johnny left his hometown and left his young love(Eva Mendes) Sorry guys i didn't remember her character's name cause everytime when Eva is on screen all my other senses are blocked. A few decades later Johnny became a famous stunt driver who has survived countless accidental falls with absolutely no injuries at all. He realised something wasn't right, and on the anniversary of his father's death the Devil returned, who then unleashed Johnny's inner Ghost Rider powers and ordered Johnny to go after the Devil's son and hunt him down before his son uncovers this ancient contract which contains a thousand evil soles. Actors: Nicolas Cage did take this role seriousely, and he was decent in this movie, not great but i can't blame him. I think he is an under-rated actor who deserves more. Eva Mendas looks fantastic..she is just absolutely beautiful, very very sexy....I didn't pay attention to her acting ability, i can't anyway. Storyline: Predictable. Special Effects: Generally well done, the flaming skill and the white hot chain are impressive. cinematography: Below average. Nothing creative or imaginative. The Ghost rider is suppose to ride at neck snapping speed, but the director failed to make the audience feel the speed. The bike actually look slow when it is travelling at max velocity, even with a flaming trail behind, it just doesn't look fast. Overall score 5.5/10 There are some funny scenes, but the producer and the director should really try harder. They should learn from Spider man 1 and 2, Xmen 2, and possibly Superman Returns. This is a lazy movie for the lazy, easily satisfied brain. |
