Nothing exceptional. Stupid people are everywhere. In every country.

But those videos are very funny indeed. Especially the Canadian one.

To our American members: c'mon don't be so sensitive. It's a joke / comedy show. Why take it so seriously? A bit capability of self-irony wouldn't hurt.

Or the world is gone so mad that even jokes are considered as insults / offences.

Regarding the debate I had with Michael lately it seems there are some deep cultural & philosophical differences between "ours & yours" sense of humor.

I was laughing so hard you wouldn't believe, but not at Americans per se, but rather at these people. I just hope that the point of the thread is NOT to prove that a certain culture/group is ignorant. It goes both ways. Nevertheless, you don't think I laughed? Man, it was great.

I think between you and me there are not that many differences. I think between certain people and you there are. For example, I somtimes sit back and like to see celebrities, actors, politicians make fun of themselves. There is nothing like it. That type of humor I like. It shows that people recognize that they need to site back and relax sometimes.

It does not look bad as it is now. It could turn bad though. Who knows? I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think in the end classifying people into groups and them exploiting their lack of something is just wrong, because you are essentially just taking apart a human being. The intricacies involved with a human being are so much more complex than a culture. A culture may have certain attributes, but does that mean that they are all the same? Absolutely not. I think you can look at sitautions around the world and see that there is not one country that has all of its citizens right behind it in supporting every single thing they do.
