There seems to be more and more Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland references. Maybe you can find the explanation for the series by reading those books.

The episode did raise some more questions (surprise, surprise). How does the station jam the signals? How do they get oxygen? Is it connected to the radio tower or somewhere else on the island through other cables? Who are the women on the station? Are they members of the other tribe of the Others or Dharma survivors? Could they be from Naomi's helicopter? Is the other one of them the same experienced diver that supposedly drowned in the 1st season when Jack rescued Boone? Or could it be that the other woman is Annie, Ben's childhood friend?
BTW Can't wait to see more Dharma facilities (radio tower, more of the new "hatch")

Damn! What a finale! We saw some flashes from the future but the question is how far from now? Will they get out of the island already next season or will something happen again and they get stuck on the island? BTW has anybody else than Naomi claimed that the flight 815 crashed into the ocean and the passengers were all found dead? Apparently she's not working for Penelope so who is she? A Dharma member? And is Mikhail also a Dharma member who survived the purge just like Ben?

Damn! that cliffhanger will be killing me till the beginning of next season!!
that was one hell of a finale! and opend more possibilities to interpret the intentions of some characters (Ben, Locke, Naomi).. and what a great twist at the end! although I was kinda expecting the future thing, because I was -like a true Lost fan - looking for hints in every scene, so I noticed the krzr cell phone jack was using and at the end, the S40 Kate was driving. it was allpointing to the fact that it wasn't happening in 2004 (year of the plane crash) or earlier..

So now it seems like Jack and Kate (and perhaps the person kate is living with) are the only survivors from the island, and that they -for some reason- left the other losties back. And jack can't live with this fact, so that he trying to kill himself just to escape from the guilt feelings. What the Hell happened???
Cooper/Sawyer did mention that too.
to be honest I liked him like that, firstly because he's not Mr.Perfect anymore, and secondly because this gave Mathew Fox the chance to perform absolutely brilliantly. I thougt he did a great job playing "drunken Jack"
that was one badass moment! extremely violent, but also kinda cool! I meant for godsake he killed a man with his hands tied behind his back!!

PS: I don't know why but I laughed so hard when I saw Walt! He looked so old compared to the 1st season.. and his voice.. lol!
