You're right its definately a drama not a historical documentary, but it's close enough to still be enjoyable, plus it is hard to be 100% accurate with anything from that time period.

I just finished watching the 6th episode of the 2nd season... I don't like the new Octavian but other than that the show seems to be gaining momentum.

As for any historical accuracy, the pilot sort of ruined that for me, specifically Mark Antony's line "Brutus, me old cock" (which had me convulsing with laughter), but that doesn't spoil the series for me.

So it's over now. What do you guys think, would there have been potential for a 3rd season? I'm happy they stopped where they did, despite the fact that the last few episodes were quite good.

I dont think there could have been potential for a third season, not much to make a show of with out any major fighting for the next 100 years or so.

Overall I liked it a lot, good series, and I am glad they ended it where they did.

Yes agreed. But I would have liked to have seen more battles.

i wonder if there will be a new season..let see

but so far its one of the better shows ive seen in my life..very pleased
