Yes we use SIM cards now in the US. About 2 years ago we didn't but now most if not all phones have a si card slot unless it is an old phone or old technology.

No mp3's, that's good, because samsung suck at that. It's personal though. I think samsung makes some of the most beautiful phones on the market. Their sliders are very nice.
But I have some problems with them, if you have fat chubby sausage fingers like me, no can do. The menu's aren't as intuïtive as other brands.

So it depends.

On a side note, almost died 2 weeks ago, I dropped the HTC. Nasty scratch and little dent on the side. First scratches always hurt. I'm over it now, but at the moment, it felt like somebody ripped out my hart, filled it with broken glass, and put it back. I wasn't in a happy place if you catch my drift

Well as long as theres no horrible problems with there phones im going to go with it and if there menu's arent as intuitive well i can live with that. This first scratches always hurt i remeber when i first got my razr some stupid girl dropped my phone on concrete and that left an ugly mark.

I can relate, I have a Pocket PC and soon as I get the least little mark on it I break it so I can get it replaced!

Re: Off topic thread of the day: Mobile phones

haha yes its very hard getting marks on our toys. The first year of having the razr i went through 6 different ones because it kept on breaking and since it was covered by warenty they were all free. Thats one reason i choose to upgrade from the razr to something else instead of getting a new one was becasue i was just fed up with them and their problems.
