I'm not using my phone's media player at all. I'm glad i can use some MP3s for my ringtones and that's it.

And menus aren't badly constructed at all, imo... Get used to it and that's it.

I agree. I have no trouble with my Samsung t509. Menus are relatively easy to deal with once you know what is where. UI is very modern with nice, fluffy icons everywhere you look.

Of course, I'm just holding out for Apple's cel phone, which is due to hit in the first half of 2007.

Rick, if you want an MP3 phone, go buy a SE phone. A friend has a K750i and combines a great camera with very good sound! I use my phone (9300) as a mp3 player too but i don't a very good sound quality...

no, I don't want a MP3 phone. Just mentioning the problems that samsung phones have. I think they're very nice to look at, but not to handle. And if you want to listen to MP3's, don't get one. even not if it's just sporadic.
btw, I do have a K750 right now, and an Ipod Video

but for now, the new one will come very soon. P4350 HTC has been introduced and it will be available early december. can't wait

I have the SonyEriccson W810i for about 2 months now, and it is possibly the best phone I have ever had. I will never buy another brand again. I find Motorola's to be the worst. I wanted the K750 but it turns out the 810 i is an updated k750.

hey guys im up for an upgrade on my phone in febuary and i was planing on getting the samsung d807 but now hearing all of these negative things about samsung i dont know what i should do. Im not going to be using it as a mp3 player just for making calls.

A question to you americans guys. Do you use simcards over there? I'm asking becasue I took a look at my sister's phone from america and when the battery is removed ther isn't a slot for a sim card whoch means that her phone is and will always be locked to one carrier. I'm planning on picking up a phone tomorrow and wonder if there are pre-paid simcards on the other side of the atlantic.
