Re: Off topic thread of the day: Mobile phones

Wow, I've had the same phone (samsung sch-a530) for like 4 years now, I wish I had taken advantage of the "New Every Two" the first time it came up but little did I know that that offer has a window of oppurtunity that closes fast. No matter, I'm due for an upgrade in another month. Verizon isn't giving me the best selection of phones to choose from imo. I need picture/text msging, bluetooth, and a speakerphone. I'm not that well versed on user interfaces and such, would anyone care to make an informed reccomendation on a Verizon phone?

I don't think I'll be buying another SE anytime soon.
So far so good, works as flawlessly as my previous K700i did for two years.

It's between the LG, the Samsung E900 and the K800i. I'm getting my phone tomorrow, help me choose guys!
don't know if you alreay got your phone, but IMO take the D900: thinner, better and more good looking

as for you with problems with your K750i, welcome to my world. Mine has been repaired for the second time. Joy-stick again. Normally I do 3 years with my phone, but at this rate, once the guarantee is over ... I don't know. And problem is, there is no phone on the market right now that really does it for me. Ideally I want a touch screen with a camera ( 3.2 ) and external memory. So a P990 could be, but that's just toooooo ugly. And a friend of mine already has it. Qtec could be, but so damn fat. Don't know. They should have put a camera on that damn SE M600i. For now, the D900 though is my number one phone of the moment.

Thanks for your suggestion, but as I've already mentioned, I've got the SE K800i already. It's an excellent phone one month into use, with absolutely no problems at all. But some niggling egronomics bug me - like the slow OS and the small keypad.
