Re: High-tech thread

It might look blurry in this picture (I agree, but that is because the pic is not taken from a still), but trust me, it is anything but blurry!.
Blu Ray movies will broadcast in the highest possible resolution at this moment (1080p, about 2.07 million - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER). A normal DVD does not go further than 480p (despite GTA's claiming otherwise )

As for the size of that Sony.....Does it really matter anymore if it's that big :p

I was actually incorrect klier (sorry, I seem to do this sort of thing a lot on this forum) B&O and Philips have a "strategic Alliance" - B&O use a lot of Philips tech and also have some financial support from Philips, but Philips still don't actually own B&O - at least not yet anyway

Sorry for the misinformation

Exactly. It's what will put the Xbox360 (which I also have) in it's coffin.

Re: High-tech thread

I have the ultimate media set up (almost).

We just got a new 61 inch DLP rear projection with 1080p res. We also have it hooked to a 600gb shuttle computer where we have 3000 wav file songs hooked up to the computer which is hooked to the amp which plays throughout the house. The computer is also connected to hd tv where the picture is awsome. Were about to get the new Denon 4606 amp that delivers 130 watts to 7 surround speakers. Once we get that then well have the ultimate home media center.

Any suggestions..

7.1 A/V receiver with HDMI, i.Link, 7-Channel Surround Sound (130W x 7),
YPAO Parametric Room Equalizer,
Separate Remote for Zones 2 and 3,

This baby is 'on' for an average 12 hours a day non-stop and drives the distributed audio throughout the house.
