This looks pretty special. I wonder does anyone here know more about this?

I am assuming it is lacquered in the same black lacquer Steinway uses on their pianos -- the same black lacquer used for the black wood in the Maybachs.

That stereo was everywhere on the net two weeks ago and I've only seen the first picture. I didn't know that it use the same piano wood like the MM but for 1 million dollar it better.

I don't think Steinway actually make the lacquer switches and black wood trim for Maybach but the initial idea for lacquered switches was conceived as a tribute to Steinway because William Steinway, who made fine pianos, also produced Daimler engines under license in the US in the late 19th century. Steinway and Sons in New York make some of the finest pianos in the world. I would expect this stereo will be one of the best available in the world.

The Hifi industry doesn't have a limit, what you pay is what you get. Just ask Fabio. His sound system cost 3 million dollars and is built using the same materials as spaceship materials, further more he has a 9 000 dollar cable.
