![]() ![]() | Iphone 3G from switzerland Ok, Mobistar launched the new iphone 3G in Belgium and it's bloody expensive: €615 for a 16gig phone, even when you sign a 2 year contract. This is ridiculous. That's why I'm planning a little trip to switzerland: 16gig only costs 381euro there, pre-paid Iphone. It's a 6hr drive, buy the phone, eat someting and back home, so no problem. I'm just wondering are there things I should now? problems with buying it in switzerland and taking it to belgium? ( not sim-lock, that is not a problem ) More things like customs, taxes, ... |

![]() ![]() | Re: Iphone 3G from switzerland ok, so we're safe? Because we heared something from friends of a mate's father, they bought a swiss watch as a present and when crossing the border they had a choice: pay a huge fine, or leave it behind. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Iphone 3G from switzerland I don't see the point in this phone apart from the impressive looks and status that comes with apple products. It seems to be a little bit of everything combined into a product that falls short of being exceptional at anything in particular... Prepaid cost in Australia I have heard is AUD$729. That is expensive for a prepaid phone in Australia. I would much rather get a Blackberry. Looks like it's a wait for iPhone 3.0 because 2.0 just doesn't offer a big enough case to upgrade. |
