That's one phone I badly want, but I'm still holding my breath waiting for the official price. So far SE hasn't said wack about the price. The iPhone is off course a decent deal if you want a PDA but still there are some better alternatives out there with more features which the iPhone doesn't offer. ![]() ![]() | Re: What PDA should I buy? I'm after more of a work helpful PDA then the iPhone. Something that I can recieve and send my emails, MS word use would be helpful. I definetly need a really good organizer included and I think it's possible that the PDA can also connect with your laptop to syncronize information??? That Sony Erricson looks great!!! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: What PDA should I buy? Well u can also try Nokia's "E Series" range of phones which run of Symbian OS (which lots of ppl arent too keen of) but I find quite okay, or you can try i-Mate or HTC, HP for Windows Mobile based OS. |

Yeah the iPhone is quite a mediocre PDA for anyone who wants something which has advanced features to offer under the surface. IMO HP has the best PDA's at the moment and two of them should be hitting the stores anytime soon. Their phones support MS word, power point, outlook and excel. Great for opening email attachments while on the move. One which is worth looking into is the iPaq 900 which runs windows mobile, has a 3mp camera, 3G GPS, bluetooth, 2.64 display, google maps display Wifi and last but not least it's also a phone. It's a very good all-in-one device and has everything you want. ![]() Then there is the iPaq 610 which is leaning more to the phone side but has a touch screen, touch wheel and a slightly bigger screen. ![]() Last but not least is the top of the line goodness which has a 624mhz CPU, 4 inch 640x480 screen, CF slot and everything else you would want in a PDA. What might be a turnoff is that you can't use it as a phone. ![]() | |
