Here is the first MP3 I had with the exact phone. 32MB, had only space for like 8 songs or something. ![]() My second one was an iriver with 128MB I remember when I walked around with it dangling from my neck. All most everyone who passed me stared at it. Even sales people in store which sold CD players and gadgets. Nobody knew what it was, a handful or random strangers even asked me questions about it. Next up was the iPod Mini. Had it when it just hit Europe, again people stared at it. I actually sold it 6 month later for the same price that I bought it. A friend of mine badly wanted one and they were sold out just about every where, this was during Christmas. After that I bought a 30GB iPod photo and haven't upgraded since then. My next MP3 player will probably be one with a 64GB SSD drive. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 100 Million iPods sold The iPod G5 has been around for quite some time and it is just a matter of time before they launch a new iPod with SSD. Apple usually has an expo, press conference i June or what ever and it is very possible that they will launch a new iPod then. No rumors yet so nothing is writen in stone, but one thing is for sure and that is that the next iPod will be featuring SSD Drives. You who haven't owned an MP3 player is in some way better off starting with a 4GB Nano, it now even comes with a alu casing, it's a good buy for a starter. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 100 Million iPods sold My first MP3 player was a Creative nomad jukebox 3, what good at what it did, but I found it way too large to carry arround with me. It was the first mp3 player with 20gb! Then I got a 128mb creative muvo, was great until the flash memory stopped working. After that I used my 6230 with 512mb, and later my W800i with 512mb till that deleted songs randomly. A few months ago I got an apple ipod nano 8gb in black, has got to be one of the best things I have ever got. It's so small, I have it in my pocket all the time, and it has just about the right amount of storage. It has reminded me of my love of music. Hopefully when the next nano comes out in september, they will bring a nano out with 16 or 32 gb. I am a converted ipod hater. Got my dad to get an 80gb ipod, played with it a bit but too big for me to carry around! NarutoRamen, I definately recommend getting an 8gb nano! |

![]() ![]() | Re: 100 Million iPods sold skip that, just pay a little more and get the 30 gig Video, If you're like me, 8 gig just isn't enough. It will break though, but when you send it back, just mention "battery" and they'll give you a new one for free. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 100 Million iPods sold ^^Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm going to be waiting a few months for new press releases to come out on the new stuff. on a few tech blogs I've heard that a new zune and a new Ipod will be coming out. So I think I should just wait and see if what they will offer before I buy one right now. |
