They are all very good cars but 5er is no1 in my book, Its comfortable but at the same time a sporty car. Even if 5er is no1 or no3 in sales its still my first choice. How is the word "best" meassured? I think its up to everyone to decide which car suit them the most. |

OMG! - FULL ALERT - I'm actually trembling as I type this ....................He used the dreaded M word! Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about ojis, recently AlxAmg edited a whole thread because some people complained about the use of that M word - I just can't even bring myself to type it ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mercedes core model sales plunge in Europe. Who would had thought ten years ago that the once mighty E class would struggle behind 5 series and even more behind A6. The question is if Mercedes will regain it's status as the top luxury car maker in Europe one day , in my opinion that will never happen. The downfall seems irreversible. It takes decades to built a reputation but only a few years to demolish it. Well that was to be expected. Let me guess Yannis, Audi is the top luxury car maker in Europe right? I think we really have some non-Germancar-fans here, only Audi fans. For Mercedes to not be able to stop a slide is nothing more than wishful thinking on the part of someone who apparently wants them to fail, and it flies in the face of the fact that Audi faced a similar slide (actually a much worse one in the U.S.) and they turned it around inside of a few years. This logic also ignores the key element to a car company turn around - new product. If the S-Class scores big Mercedes is well on their way. M |

As for me not being a German car fan it's true if you consider that German car fan means Mercedes fan only. PS. According to sale figures BMW is now the top luxury car maker in the world. | |
