Mercedes Racing Car Proto C112i

Found this on ebay.... really cool, iv'e heard of it but never saw one.... anyone else know anything about it???

Silver Arrow C112i, Formula 1 basis, Prototype made by Isdera with licence of Mercedes Benz, developed from 1988 - 1999, developing costs of about 4 Mio €. The car is street legal in Germany. Car has clear German titel. Location of the car: Switzerland. The car can be viewed anytime.

Chassis frame can be lowered. The motor is from Mercedes 12 cylinders having actually about 300 kW. The motor can be upgraded to 450 kW by installing compressors by German companies like AMG or professional tuning companies all over the world without any problem. The max. speed then could be improved from 330 km/h to 390 km/h. With the actual design, the car is street legal in Germany and therefore in entire Europe.

This car has what no other car in world has: an automatically lifting airbrake (wind brake) just like planes when landing. The airbrake is situated in the back of the car (see pictures) and works when stepping on the brake.

The interior:
Dark blue highest quality leather, air condition, radio etc.

I don't remember seeing this b4 .. but the front is so porsche-ish .. i love the double "wings" ..

Under license of Mercedes, a company called Lotec also made a car that's kind of similar to the C112i.
And that's the Lotec C1000.

I've never heard of this car before, seems very fast, and hugely powerful!

i dont know, but those numbers are amazing, what performance, probably the quickest thing out there with a 1000 hp. in a V8. WOW!
