I agree with the comments you made regarding the issue of boardroom/designers&engineers. I sincerely hope they will pull this one off. IMHO pulling the name of Maybach down would be sacrilegious. They should not be allowed to fail. (obviously I am dreaming here too ) | |

Maybach should compete with the Arnage, which goes for about 225K here in the U.S. not the Flying Spur which cost LESS than the S65 AMG here. Start at the Arnage with one sedan (which is where the 57S should have been priced at - 250K) and go from there with whatever they want, another sedan, a coupe, a giant 4-seat convertible (like Bentley and Rolls) or something different like a Laundualet or something. Maybach needs something stunning and stunningly different from a Mercedes. M |
