![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: maybach 53 spy shots I think that benz is just being stupid with this. Honestly, they need to make a whole new designgroup for the maybach, lock their asses up in a room and tell them to design a car that looks totally different then any mercedes car available today, and if they don't then some big german dudes are going to pull out their nails one by one. That should solve the problem because maybachs are great cars it's just their styling that sucks...its too damn similar to the former S class...they seriously need to design from scratch. |

![]() | Re: maybach 53 spy shots This could be both good and bad. The S600 is like $25,000 cheaper than the Bentley Flying Spur. If Maybach produces a 53 sedan I can imagine it would be a more expensive than the Spur. |

I think right now the bean counters at DC are wondering weather or not this would be a smart move. Maybach needs life pumped into it for the sake of mindshare and long-term goals and an outrageous coupe might do the trick. On the other hand - there's a very small pie to fight over at the top of the market, so perhaps they'll chose to watch RR go it alone and see what kind of response they can eke out of the world's billionaires. | |

![]() | Re: maybach 53 spy shots Yep I agree with that Osna. A coupe version would be nice for Maybach. I wouldn`t sit around for Rolls to make the first moves though. Maybach needs to make a good impression ASAP. ![]() |
