The author (Patrick Hoey) states the new Tundra is giving a black eye to Toyota's reputation for quality and that this will have lasting long-term negative consequences for Toyota. A provocative viewpoint...

Gotten some hate mail from the Toyota legions on this one - they don't seem to want to post a comment on the piece, they just send me an email directly. Very unhappy that anyone would question Toyota quality...

questioning toyotas reputation and reliability is against the Geneva Convention the last i heard....lol..

Yes, apparently there are Special Forces available to repel any breach in the wall of Toyota's reputation.

Well, we've been accused of being anti-domestic, anti-German, anti-Korean, anti-Japanese, and and I suppose we can look forward to being accused of being anti-Chinese in the future regarding our articles.
