Re: Take that, 350Z!

Bah - over-optimistic advertising. 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds? Rubbish. And that's my old 155 kW XT pictured above at that. Nope. A 350Z will smash a current 169 kW Forrie if the Scoob driver so much as lightly hashes the pullaway - getting the perfect launch is the only way to get a 0-60 time in the MID six second mark. Thereafter, shifting to third sees the lighter, more powerful, more torquey, more efficient 350Z disappear toward the horizon.

How do I know?

I've tried.

Re: Take that, 350Z!

Even the mid six is still impressive for an SUV, right bro?

Ah make no mistake bud, the mid 6 second bracket is outstanding for a car 200mm off the ground with skinny dual purpose tyres! It's the AWD system that works so well to contain all the wheel-spin at pull-off.

You will probably need an STi tuned Legacy to get into the high 5sec from 0-100km/h. The 350z has more power and a bit less weight, so it will be hard for a Legacy, let alone a Forester XT to match or beat the 350z
