It is a fantasy interior design exhibit at the House & Garden Fair in London.

The "blue balloon dog" is by the American artist Jeff Koons.

Hahaha I actually saw those pictures yesterday. Pretty funky designs, not to mention the ballon dogs. Nice to see some furniture designed by an American artist Most furnitures and interiors we have posted here are designed by Europeans.

BTW I digg the design of the TV in your avtar. I saw several of those in a store a few months ago. I wanted to buy one but they were all there just for decoration.

I was sure I posted those balloon dogs a while ago in my Fine Art thread (but I can't see them there now) -- Jeff Koons is one of the most important contemporary American artists.

BTW, these Gio Ponto chairs have become really fashionable right now -- I keep seeing them all over the place. Gio Ponti is one of Italy's most honoured designers, he died in 1979. I'm not sure when those chairs were designed but I would guess some time in the early 1950s.


LOL -- it is quite great -- but in this instance it is part of an instalation art work from 1974 by the Korean video artist Nam Jun Paik.

I have loved Paiks sculpture/assemblages for a long time, he died last year ...I was sad about that. You might recognize some of his TV robot sculptures (or maybe not ). Paik was a pioneer of high-tech multi-media art installations

Talk about madness and I thought Karl Lagerfeld was insane with his 20 iPods. Do these installations still exist? I have never seen his Robots since I'm still learning about new artists and architects everyday, since I have only been a crazy art fanatic in 1.5 year.
