Unlike all those car interiors which use carbon fibre purely for decorative purposes and all the connotations of high-tech and F1 racing, in a performance yacht CF is entirely justified - I love that CF floor.

So back to houses. This house was built in 2004 and was designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.

Swiss architect Peter Zumthor is a true minimalist. I am a big fan of his work, although I doubt I could live in one of his interiors for very long.

Thank for sharing lots of pictures Rob, I have saved many of them on my computer. What caught my attention most is Hotel Puerta which reminds me so much of those science fictions movies which are about totalitarian states such as Aeon Flux and the Island. The hotel rooms look like small rooms for people who have been cloned.

So the first pictures showed the central buidling at the BMW plant? That quite a nice looking construction which is in the same league as the SLR factory which is called if I remember correctly the Paragon.

I've always had a fear climbing these stairs - although I know they are double re-inforced at the sides connecting to the wall, I'll always worry I'll fall, nonetheless.
