You have a good eye Lu - that church is by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando - who just happens to be one of my favourite architects

Since this thread has extended beyond houses, I would love to show some pictures of the work of Zaha Hadid - this women is a genius IMO.

I'm very into modern design myself over older stuff, but that first house does have a bit too much window space. I'd feel like there was not much privacy with all that transparency everywhere.
