The most expensive hotel is in fact Emirates Palace and here are some facts about it. 6 in the number of employees on per guest. 10 employees is the number of people working on polishing the chandellers. 12 dollar is the price for a cup of coffe. 20 kilos of gold covers the ceiling of the lobby. 45 is the number of golfcarts availible for the staff for tranportation outdoors and indoors since some of the corridors are 500meters 140 elevators are used to tranport lazy guest who don't want to take the stairs. 2600 is the number of employees 10 000 dollar is the price if you want sleep one night in the presidental suite. 3 000 000 is the number of square meters the interior of the hotel covers. 3.2 billion dollars is the money that has been spent on building the hotel. I'm quite striked by the price of this hotel. While people living a several miles away from the hotel are staving, others are edulging themselves in extreme luxury. ![]() Last edited by Centurion; 10-07-2005 at 09:01 AM.. |

The hotel is pretty sweet tough. I wouldn't mind getting picked up in a white phantom and being pampered like a baby. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The world's most expensive hotel Yeah rnds, I think I know what you mean. Some of the hotels in dubai are extremly luxurious but they don't have the elegant touch like some other hotels do. It seem like the production manager simply wanted to build the most expensive, biggest and most flashy hotel on the planet. I'm not saying that I wouldn't mind chilling in the presidental suite but the this hotel don't have the elegance of British or italian hotels. It is obvious that some hotels have different ways of approaching ultimate luxury. This hotel is more of a MM while the Paris Ritz is a Bentley Arnage. |
