![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Rents in Orange County are off the scale. Lately I have thought about my housing situation out here in Orange County and have come to the conclusion that the cost for living out here is ridiculous. A decent 2 bed room apartment will set you back between 1 200-1 600 dollars per month. Despite the high rent the appartment won't even be up to standard with a 400 dollar two bedroom apartment in Sweden. I have even done some comparison on the internet and have found gorgeous looking 2 bedroom apartments with high ceiling and fabulous kitchen in London, just 15 minutes away from Oxford Street for 650 dollars per month. The amount of money me and my roomies pay for our apartment would get us an ultra luxurious 2 floor condo in Sweden. And it's not really like we live close to the ocean either and neither do some of my friends who pay unusually high rents. So can anyone here explain to me why rents out here in OC are so damn high? |

Heck living in an apartment in NY and London is even cheaper. I'm feeling economically raped. My friends don't seem to mind since they really don't understand that they are getting ripped off and it is not like they have a view over the whole state or are neighbors with Jeniffer Love Hewitt. |
