I am taking a class this semester on these two, and find it very intriuging stuff. Just wanted know what others thought about it. |

Yes, I'm familiar with both although much more engaged with adult cognitive issues. I lean more toward Piaget, in part because I believe language is not a necessary part for children to understand a problem. Ther are many experiments with babies and toddlers ( no speech capabilities yet) in which they seem to understand problems, dilemas and express through non verbal communication, not necessarily through a discussion of a problem. | |
