"The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift" starring VW Golf R32.

What came to Inside Line's test session, however, wasn't one of the drift-ready rear-drive R32s but a visually identical one running the standard all-wheel-drive system. So except for the graphics, hood scoop, rear wing and a set of "Lamborghini" scissor doors (also installed by VW before shipment to America), this is a stock R32 — right down to its 18-inch wheels and tires. Fortunately, the Volkswagen R32 is clearly a sweet-natured car.

With a 250-horsepower, 3.2-liter, 24-valve V6 and six-speed manual transmission feeding the all-wheel-drive system, there are few cars on Earth easier to launch than the Volkswagen R32. The car doesn't have enough power to overwhelm the traction of all four tires, there are no turbos to keep on the boil, and the torque curve is so broad and tall you could fly an Airbus A340 under it. The transmission shifts with a light touch, the clutch is no threat to your femur's health, and the steering operates with the precision of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F Major. In sum, it's a totally easygoing car.

We're suppose to get the MKV R32 here in the states, an announcement shouldnt be that far off. It will probably be just the two door and a six speed manual, it's a long shot but hopefully DSG as well or only.

They're gonna find it hard to drift a 4WD car, wonder if they will convert it to RWD for the movie!
