I really don't like the new bodykit, the rear looks real bad plus the rims look awful in black, IMO!

The power upgrade is nice though!

Snake Vargas will become famous soon enough
Re: 230 hp VW GTI "Edition 30"

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the black wheels, either. Maybe a dark grey would be nicer.

On the other hand, now that the rear end and the spoilers/valances/edging around the car are body coloured instead of grey, then colour choice is vital. IMO, flat red isn't the best colour for this car. Maybe a dark blue, or even a light blue, like the majority of the R32 press photos?

Either that, or I'm starting to think that the grey plastic bumpers of the normal GTI aren't that bad after all..

I thought the GTI was made with 'subtlety' in mind. This is far too loud, give me the stock GTI anyday.

Re: 230 hp VW GTI "Edition 30"

I seem to be in the minority who like this car. It looks tough, muscular and has a great sporting intent. Everything that a GTI should embody. It's nice.

So is there any plans to produce this car?

Re: 230 hp VW GTI "Edition 30"

Apparently it'll have a golfball shifter knob, too, just like the Mk I GTI.
I'll join the ranks of those who think the black wheels are not a good idea. Other than that it looks good, and the extra 30 hp should not be a problem in this car.
