| The Mercedes GL450 Goes For A Swim I know some of you boys would love to be down there too with Eva, but hey.... Only the GL is so lucky... ![]() What happens when you take a new GL450 , submerge it in a giant water tank, then throw in the sultry Eva Mendez clad in a delectably form-accentuating couture gown swimming alongside the said Mercedes model? The answer of course is art, and thanks to photographer Michael Muller, we now have an accurate representation of what exactly the aforementioned art looks like. In a recent art project entitled "Quiet", Michael photographs this as well as twenty-four other underwater scenarios, all of which aim to portray the silence and stillness one experiences when underwater. The exhibit is part of an effort to raise money for The Art of Elysium in Universal City, California, with all proceeds from the sale of "Quiet" pieces going to benefit the not-for-profit organization. If you're interested, twenty-five prints of Eva Mendez and the Mercedes GL450 are up for sale; pricing, however, has not been announced. For more information, visit the - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER where you can learn about the project as well as how to acquire one of the piece(s) for yourself. You can also view several other photos of the GL450 being submerged (none of which made it into the collection) immediately below. Enjoy. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: The Mercedes GL450 Goes For A Swim He even requested a 1950s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL for the shoot... If he used this car, I would personally have gone over there and smacked him good. If he had gone through with submerging a 300SL Gullwing... oh boy...Wimmer = mad. I don't consider this art at all. What's so special about submerging a car and having some celebritiy swim around? ![]() |
