Rapper shot tyring to escape from car theives

Cam'ron was treated at Howard University Hospital and released Sunday afternoon.
"People are foolish if they think I'm going to lose my head and give up anything to anyone just because someone threatens me," Cam'ron, who was back home in Harlem, said in a statement Monday.
"I'm doing OK," he said. "It takes more than a botched carjacking to keep me down."

Not the smartest of choices, but glad he's satisfied with his decision. Could have turned out worse. Surprised he was by himself.

Yeah it could have gone worse but I guess you can speed of pretty fast with a Gallardo, too bad the car didn't have launch control

HAHA what a dumb ass .. has he ever heard of this phenomena called car insurance.. if someone was jackin my car i would say to him.. go ahead.. good luck when should i call the cops.. i can buy you some time.. bye bye and take care..

I think he did the right thing. IF you give up your car your encouraging theft, and thats just dumb.

But you'd rather have a bullet up your ass? Trust me man, people will KILL you for a lot less than a Lamborghini. Give them what you want, don't look at them... and then just get money from insurance.

The bad thing is that he's probably going to be all cocky about it and say that he got shot... war wounds...

That's probably the point. When your image is that of a tough gangster (I don't know much about Cam'ron, but I am assuming that's the case), you don't get respect for being prudent, even when it comes to a choice between your car and possibly your life. I would think that you get respect for toughing out the adversity, and the war wounds just goes to show others how big and tough you are.

Not for me, though. There's nothing about the car's speed that could save you. A few centimetres to one way and it could have hit something else besides his arms. I'd rather just give it up, and live to drive again.
