Re: Chinese Grand Prix

What a race; starting 6th and winning, schumacher is THE BEST . Loved the look on ferdie's face, arrogant POS. Great overtaking on fisichella by schumacher, who says the guy won't take any risks anymore

As for Renault, after that little ballet they both were performing in front of schumacher, they're not only arrogant but also the biggest hypocrits.

What hypocrits ?!
First Alonso had problems, then Fisico. If overtaking a driver with problems makes you the greatest, then keep on dreaming mate.
Jesus Christ, and you called me biased.
Well, at least Renault had the quickest car. Maybe they've overcomed the mass damper handicap.
Damn, it's going to be one hell of a season ending.

Re: Chinese Grand Prix

Pretty good race.

Even tough being faster, Schumi's pass of Alonso was pretty slick.

And as always, poor Kimi.

But the award for the biggest piece of horse manure of the race goes to ... (drum roll) Takuma Sato.

My heart goes out to Heidfeld. Running fourth and being blocked on the last lap by benchmarkers, mainly Sato, causing his to get rammed at the last turn and finish 7th. How many times has Sato pulled stupid $#!t like that!

Anyhow, to say it one more time:
SATO should not be allowed to race in F1.

Sato disqualified, Albers punished

Oct.1 (GMM) After investigating the last-lap carnage at Shanghai, Chinese grand prix stewards disqualified Super Aguri's Takuma Sato.

The Japanese was found guilty of ignoring blue flags and blocking quicker drivers, so he was excluded from the results following an earlier reprimand in 2006.

Spyker's Christijan Albers was also penalised, but he received only a 25 second penalty because it is his first offence.

Brazilian Rubens Barrichello, meanwhile, escaped sanction for his collision with Nick Heidfeld, but Honda principal Nick Fry dismissed as 'ludicrous' any suggestion that the Japanese carmaker used its connection with Super Aguri to ask Sato to block Heidfeld for a lap.

The incident occurred only after the two works Hondas caught Heidfeld, who was running in fourth at the start of the last lap, and a BMW-Sauber statement that hinted at 'dubious manoeuvres'.

''To think that is complete rubbish,'' Fry told reporters.

What is rubbinsh, is Sato's disaqualification. So what if he loses his precious 14th spot. Whoopti****ingdo!

This is not his first offence in this sort of matter and so he should be banned for a few races.

Man I am pissed right now.

Who says team orders are dead? Fisichella passed Alonso on the straight and immediately let him re-pass to stay in front of Schu. How did Alonso manage to find the pace to do that? Alonso was crawling around like a bug; he had no grip at that point. That was a team order.

Other than blatant team orders, magnificient race! The 1993 European GP at Donington still is my favourite race, but this was classic. Schu was absolutely unbelievable in the conditions. I can't think of another driver not named Senna who could drive that car the way he did in those conditions.

Why did Alonso push so hard at the end? The outcome was decided. He was down 20 sec. with 13 laps to go. He got it to 3 because Schu switched down the revs. I hope he pays for this at Suzuka. Alonso drove poorly. He had an off track excursion at the beginning of the race and he destroyed his front tyres, forcing the change. He lost it for himself as much as Renault blew it for him!

Wow, this is a crapy as it gets as far as a analisis goes.

1) Until he switched tyres for the first time, Aolonso lead without a problem = 25 sec advantage over Scumi = no front tyre problems.
2) At first pitspot he switched front tyres = idiotic decision = becamed slow as a bug vs. Fisico and Schumi who kept same tyres set.
3) Both Fisico and Schumi passed him.
4) both Alonso and fisico switch tyres. Alonso makes good switch this time, fisico bad/or trouble; Alonso's pit stop = 19 secs.; but recovers from 6 place to second place.
5) He was wasy faster than Schumy now, fastest lap(s) by about 2.5 sec at one point

So Alonso was a master in driving, fantastic comeback but the decision for the first tyre set was idiotic.

As for team orders, look who's talking, Ferrari are the masters in such things.
There is now way Massa would have won turkey GP, had it not been for that mistake.
