Re: F1: Italian Grand Prix

Damn, how about that? Strong result for BMW. Strong position for Schumi. Lackluster showing by Alonso. This could be one hell of an Italian GP!

I'm gettin up real early tomorrow to catch this one!

Re: F1: Italian Grand Prix

I'm getting up early as well. It could be one of the final times I get up early to see Schu race!

I wonder how Schu will fritter away points tomorrow. Bad tyre choice, first corner shunt, careless driving? What will it be? I'd still put a bet on Alonso.

Alonso was relegated to position 10 because he allegedly blocked Filipe Massa during his flying lap.

And so he's 10th. He's shown that he can fight back. I expect to see him on the podium. Massa should consider shunting him out of the race. Schu is old and he needs all the help he can get.

Re: F1: Italian Grand Prix

Wow, that is really tight between MS and Kimi

I've developed a scary love for this sport! I came home last night at 3 am having worked all day and mom who was awake told me that Kimi was on pole. I really didn't expect that so I begged to use the computer to read about it and make sure that she's not wrong(which she is quite often) but she didn't let me. After that I couldn't sleep for 2 hours. I fell asleep at 5am and woke up again at 9 and rushed to the computer!

4 hours of sleep just because Kimi took pole at one of my favourite circuits!

Yesterday was one fo the best days in my life and now Kimi on pole. Can't wait for the race!

Not really, the 2007 engine is very different from the one they are using right now.

I just saw footage of the whole lap in the pre-race report... the closest Massa got was a 100 m to Alonso, there's no way he was blocking!

It looks like more FIA/Ferrari BS to me… anyhow, I have to agree w/Alonso that the it looks like the FIA are trying to influence the championship’s outcome.
