Turkish Grand Prix

After a long break it's finally time for F1 again! Long break means long time to work on the cars and it will be intersting to see the result of all the changes done.

I have my money on Schumacher for this race but I think Alonso will be a strong contender as well. If only he gets a good qualifying session I think he will win.

Re: Turkish Grand Prix

It will be interesting to see how much the banning of the mass damper system will effect Renault's competitiveness.

True, bery interesting.

I still can't understand why they were banned since there isn't a single rule agains. They must've changed the rules.

Ralf will drop 10 due to an engine change, so Heidfeld will move to 5th

Didn't see the qualifying but it looks like Schumi has driven very fast on the 2nd round!

Re: Turkish Grand Prix

Massa on pole! Will be interesting to see how Alonso fairs without the mass damper. He might've been fast in qualifying but I suspect a light fuel load and without the mass damper the tire wear on his car will increase so I don't think he stands a chance against Schumacher. I also think Button has a huge chance to get a podium. He was insanely quick in the first sectors but lost the pace later towards the end of the circuit.

The Bridgestone tires seem to work alot better than the Michelns in high heat so thats yet another factor to Ferrari's advantage.

Alonso very well might be on a 3 stopper in case they have a lot of tire wear...

Re: Turkish Grand Prix

What a race! Schu loses another 2 to Alonso. That was a bad mistake by the Ferrari pit crew. It's not looking good for Schu. The last two races for him have been disappointing. The points gap between him and Alonso could be 0, but it's 12 with 4 to go.
