F1: Canadian Grand Prix

Most of you are probobly caught up by the fotball fever going on but this is for you who still have time for F1.

Villneuve's is at his home track and Alonso has never finished on the podium here and he is also the favourite for this sundays race.
Kimi won here last year and I'm sure he wants to do it again and it was 2 years ago Schumacher won here last. He also finished second last year so there's another who really wants to win here.

I think it will be a Alonso - Schumacher battle all the way which will ultimatly be won by Alonso.

What do you think?

It's my home GP so I'll make time for it. Schu won it in 2004 and six other years. It hasn't been 8 year.

I read about Kimi going to Renault for £75 million over three years. Alonso is allegedly on for £53-58 million for 3 years in his deal with Mclaren. Why is Kimi so highly rated? If Schu's contract extension is to be believed, he is probably on £30 million per year.

Zonda, I have a feeling that you and are will be the only ones discussing this thread. Thanks for posting it.

I checked the Win log on formula1.com and it said that the last time MS won there was in 1998. Apprently alot of people see Kimi as the better driver, including me. Hopefully there are still a few people who care about F1.

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix

Check another F1 site, Zonda. Schu won it in 1994, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004. I know this because I was at the 2000, 2002, 2003 races and unless there was a Schumi imposter with a massive chin, then it was the real Schu winning.

I don't think Kimi is a better driver than Alonso. Fernando has proven a lot to me in the past several races. He is the one man who can threaten Schu's records.

Makes sense, 8 years is a long gap for MS.
Each has their own opinion

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix

I still care about F1!

Should be a good race, hopefully like the British GP, Alonso, MS and Kimi will all start 1,2,3!
