BMW now at core of 'flexi-wing' saga
Movement 'caught on camera'

Jun.25 (GMM) F1's rear wing saga is continuing to flex in Montreal, with reports that BMW-Sauber's aerodynamic device has been captured in motion at high-speed by photographers.

''I think the FIA should do something about it,'' said Williams' 'Friday' driver Alex Wurz, according to Premiere, ''because there are some teams which continue to bend their wings and the rules a little too much.''

Honda, who earlier campaigned against Ferrari's indiscretions, is believed to be most rankled by the photo evidence and may protest BMW's race results.

Subsequent talks at the circuit between BMW-Sauber boss Mario Theissen and other rival colleagues this weekend, moreover, have failed to resolve the issue.

It really showed in quali that the Bridgestone tires aren't very good on this track. Should be intersting in the long run though.

Track temperature rose to past 45 °C, so those conditions favour Michelines for sure.

You have to mind the fast straights as well because they cool the tires alot which isn't in favour of the Bridgestones either.

I sure BMW don't loose anything because of clever wings!

I thought that when this happened with Ferrari, they didn't have to forfeit any points, hope nothing happens to BMW!

The problem is that when Ferrari got caught, the rules were very ambiguous so they didn’t lose any points. Since then, the FIA revised the rules and left little room for interpretation concerning moving wings. So I think BMW is really playing with fire here.

What a great race! Very eventful, exciting, just great! The outcome could've been a little bit better though.

I think Alonso took off a bit too early at the start as well, hm.

Yeah it was a good race. I feel bad for Villeneuve and Kimi for being victims of the awful track conditions.

There were people making more misstakes than Kimi but he made them when he really didn't need them. His bad clutch didn't help him in the race either.
