| Todt vows to get back on track Monday 18th June 2007 Ferrari will turn their misfortunes around at the next race in France, according to team boss Jean Todt. Ferrari have struggled for form in the past three grands prix, while McLaren have claimed the best results possible, the 1-2 in all three events. The Woking team's domination, which was rounded off by a Lewis Hamilton victory in Sunday's US GP, have given them an impressive lead of 35 points in the Constructors' Championship. Hamilton also leads the Drivers' standings by 10 points over his team-mate Fernando Alonso, while Felipe Massa is a further nine points adrift. "Clearly the situation in the classification is getting more complicated but there are still ten races to go," Todt said. However, the Ferrari team boss has vowed to fight back at the next race, the French GP, promising improvements to the F2007, which will be tested for the first time at Silverstone this week. "This week in Silverstone, we will try out some new developments which should help us in getting back to the level we were at from the start of the Championship," he added. "We cannot deny we are disappointed with how the last few grands prix have turned out, but we strongly insist that we really want to turn the situation around." source: - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER |

| Re: Todt vows to get back on track He said similar things after Monaco . . . Got beat badly in Canada. He repeated his assertion after Canada . . . Lost in the U.S. to the same guy. He is saying the same after the U.S. GP . . . I reckon he will have to re-issue his vow to bounce back after the French GP. |
