 | V12 F1 sound? So the V8 sounds boring compared to the V10 but can anybody find a good video clip of V12 F1 car sound? I'd love to know what it sounds like. Thanks in advance!  |

That makes a huge difference. They're universes apart for me. I still prefer V10s, V12s second, while V8s are just to wimpy. | |

Yeah, but by then, 1994, Honda was out, and McLaren chose Peugeot vs. Lambo's V12. Maserati ... ?! Another all time great was the Matra V12 of the 1970s. Couldn't find it tough. Ferrari finally switched to V10 in 1997, that being the year they becamed competitive. 1991 was also the year with the most V12-powered entries in Formula One history. In that year no less than seven teams used V12 engines: Brabham (Yamaha), Ferrari, Footwork/Arrows (Porsche witch only lasted half a season), Lamborghini, Ligier, McLaren (Honda) and Minardi (Ferrari). Ironic since ... 1991 also was the turning point in the V10 vs. V12 battle [ Williams losing both titles only due to the problems of the early FW14 car (it wasn't the dominant B spec yet)].
