![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Max wants `green` V6 engines The 2.4 V8s develop at best 780 to 790 hp, not 850+. Only the turbos and V10s went there and beyond. And what's wrong with "green" V10s ?! V6s are even more retarded than the V8s and/or V12s, while the V10s are by comparison infinately tunable. But first how about some RWD mecanical grip to have overtaking ?! How about bringing back slicks, active suspensions and wider cars like the fun days ?! That way no need for clumsy, heavy, compromised AWD. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Max wants `green` V6 engines Yes and 4WD/AWD as opposed to Active Suspensions, wider cars and slicks for mecanical grip is downright retarded. This is not the WRC. No hard feeling intended to WRC fans |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Max wants `green` V6 engines Max probably thinks using 4WD will help the cars to gain more mechanical grip, but adding more weight to F1 cars aren't good, with a even smaller and less powerful engine, F1 will no longer be the fastest motor racing sport. I think Bridgestone is opposing the idea of slicks because they dont' want to pay for the massive re-tooling cost. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Max wants `green` V6 engines I don't even car for Enzo. The Renault's great creations, and legacy, the V10s and/or the super high rever, curtosy of their pneumatic valve gear system, will be washed for the sake of some green fashion non-sense. |

But 4WD/AWD was a failure in F1, while Active Suspensions were a great succes. And there's always other tyre manufacturers. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Max wants `green` V6 engines I just read that...WT-F is wrong with these guys? What happened to pinnacle of motorsports? If these guys keep going like this I think Nascar will be more fun! Looks like the age of motorsports is coming to an end...Stupid "Green" activists! |
