Developed for the team’s demanding work environment, they combine extreme performance characteristics, while balancing robustness and light weight (30 gr). Stefano Domenicali, Sporting Director of the Ferrari Team, oversaw the final selection and officially inaugurated the sunglasses on the occasion of this year’s first Grand Prix in Melbourne. The lenses, brown for optimal contrast, feature high optical precision, 100% UV protection, and are impact resistant according to EN and US RDA standards. At the bottom the lenses are rimless to ensure unobstructed vision. The single upper frame is made of non-reflecting matte, high-grade aluminium. The ear stems are connected to the frame with flexible hinges for robustness and a secure fit. Made of lightweight red resin, they feature an easy-fit design with silicon inserts to ensure the glasses stay on during physical activity. With their sporty styling, the Scuderia Ferrari logo inserted on both temples, and their status as the team’s official sunglasses, this high-performance model is perfect for Ferrari enthusiasts who want to declare their passion for the team. Produced by Marcolin. The Modena FR18/928 sunglasses can be ordered starting 23 May 2007 at a price of 141,67 euro ($191). - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER |
