Re: Food

Choleric, i was sure that someone would ask me this.
Gyros is kind of fast food. A round piece of bread like thing, stuffed with tomatoes, tzatziki, fried potatoes, onions, and little pork meat chops. I can make you but it's not easy, because the fast-foods that make souvlaki make gyro the right way, and i don't have all the "tools" that are neccessary...

Zonda and rest: Feel free to visit me in the summer Just tell it me a week before, to start cooking

I'm a sucker for chicken. Petrols and steel ain't everything in life. I really enjoy cooking.

Re: Food

I like Italian food (lasagne, pizza), Indian food (mysore mutton, chicken masala, basically anything spicy), Japanese food (sushi buffet, tempura) and Malay food (rendang, nasi lemak, roti prata).

I don't cook, unfortunately. I had home economics in school a few years ago and I hated it.

Re: Food

^^
I love indian food as well, though a couple of weeks ago I found my new love, Chinese and Vietnamese food. A buddy of mine took me a his favorite take away in London which offered Chinese and Vietnamese food. The menu consisted of 4 types of rices, 10 sauces with chicken, 10 with pork, ten with beef and ten with seafood. Off course they offered noodles but I prefer rice. I only had enough time and money to buy food from there 5 times and tried different sauces each time. Damn the food was good and it wasn't that expensive either. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a resturant here in Sweden which offers the same type of food.

Im a meat and potatoes guy myself, I am from Nebraska afterall.

Giannis, thanks for the heads up, when I was over in Greece, I couldnt get enough Gyros, they were delicious, so much better than any you could find over here in the states. I also like the slouvlaki and moussaka (sp?), those were the only ones I can remember from when I was there.

I never encountered such a wide variety before Luw, must be great! As for vietnamese food I like their Pho noodles. This reminds me of another favourite - Thai! Their curries are fantastic, as are their tom yams...

Re: Food

I just made up a batch of homemade banana ice-cream this morning, and I must say it is mighty tasty.
